How do I apply for a stall at an Eventissima Artisan Market?

Please complete our BOOK YOUR STALL page. Please make sure your social media is up-to-date with your current products. If successful we will send you the relevant booking details. All markets require payment at the time of booking. We will send you a confirmation email when booked. 

 

What are the addresses of the Eventissima venues?

 

Faversham Venue 

The Alexander Centre, Preston Street, Faversham, Kent ME13 8NZ

 

Tunbridge Wells Venue

One Warwick Park Hotel, 1 Warwick Park, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN2 5TA

 

How much are the stall fees? 

Please see our BOOK YOUR STALL page for current stall prices. We use a dynamic pricing system and prices may change on a daily basis according to season and demand.

 

Do you provide tables and chairs?

Yes, we provide tables and chairs at all venues. All tables are approx. 6 ft long. 

At some Faversham events tables may be either approx. 6ft or approx. 5 ft long depending on date and room allocated. We may use any of the ground floor rooms at Faversham on any date. We take no responsibility for the equipment we provide. If you would rather supply your own 6ft table, please just let us know ahead of the market date. 

 

Can I use additional equipment in my stall set-up?

Your booking includes the use of one table only (which we supply). If you would like to use any additional equipment e.g. art browser, easel, shelving units, roller banners, clothing rails, freesranding display grids , these will need to be approved by us before the event. We cannot guarantee the use of any additional equipment due to space limitations and to ensure fairness amongst traders.

 

What are the times of the markets?

Faversham 10am - 3pm 

Tunbridge Wells 10.30am - 3.30pm  

 

What is the footfall/attendance at the events?

Whilst every effort is made to maximise the attendance at our events, footfall/attendance and sales can never be guaranteed as this is subject to many factors .  

 

What are the normal trader setting-up times at the venues?

Faversham from 08.30am - Setting-up times may vary according to local events and local road closures e.g. Faversham Festival of Transport, Local Market Days etc and may involve earlier arrival and later departure than usual.

 

Tunbridge Wells from 09.00 am.

 

What are the parking arrangements?

We will send you detailed parking information approx. 2 weeks before each event booked, for all venues including any free, short and long stay paying options nearby.

 

Do I need Public Liability Insurance?

Yes , all stallholders require Public Liability Insurance. Stallholders must send a file copy of their current annual policy when booking or before the events booked. This is a requirement for all traders. 

Will I need special certification/documentation for certain product types?

  • To sell food and drink to the public on a commercial basis is a legal requirement in the UK. Therefore a trader will need to be fully registered with their local council/EVH office before selling at our markets and will also require their own products and public liability insurance.
  • To sell products designed and manufactured as children's toys to the public on a commercial basis is a legal requirement in the UK.  All traders must comply with the relevant UK regulations including UKCA/CE testing and labelling etc. and will also require their own products and public liability insurance.
  • To sell cosmetics ( incl.skincare, soap, bath, beauty) products, traders must comply with all UK regulations including : Designating a responsible person| product safety and compliance |product information file | labelling requirements | notification to authorities SCPN | their own products and public liability insurance . 
  • To sell candles | wax melts | similar products , traders must comply with all UK regulations including CLP, safety data sheets, testing and labelling as required and will require their own products and public liability insurance. 
  • Eventissima Events reserves the right to request certification required for any product type at any time.

 

Are the events Free Entry?

Yes all of our events are free entry to the public.

 

Do you provide information before the events for traders? 

We will provide traders with event information and promotional posters via email approx. 2 weeks before the market. This includes event timings and parking information .

 

Which items are excluded or banned? 

Copyright items | Lit candles | Naked flames | Operating wax burners or similar | Trader’s mains operated electrical items and equipment | Wall mounted displays | All types of knives (incl domestic) | Weapons | Offensive items | Bladed or any sharp objects | Alcoholic products |Food and Drink (unless a registered food/drink business) | You may not attach anything to the venue walls and floors .

 

Are there any terms and conditions when taking part in Eventissima Artisan Markets?
